There are a few current favorites of mine I discovered during the last months, some of them are wearable while the others require that you have to leave your bed. Those specific habits or pieces helped me to sweeten and simplify my everyday life, like regular breakfasts at Greentrees the juicery or staple accessories such as sunglasses that can hop from one outfit to another with ease.
Shades of blue
In the cold seasons I just want to cuddle up in my blanket and pillow, but sadly it is kinda difficult to bring your blanket or pillow to work or on the bus. So when even sweatpants aren’t an option anymore the faux fur jacket is the next best thing to throw over. Ok, I know that the faux fur jacket is probably not everybody’s cup of tea, however, the main reason I love it is because it’s a great layering piece and the perfect way to get through the colder seasons comfy, warm and stylish.
Enchanted laced boots
“You look like a Hogwart’s student!”, were the first words my brother said to me, as he looked down to my shoes skeptically, after I walked out of my dressing room. It was the day after christmas and I was proudly wearing my christmas present, a beautiful pair of black leather boots.I paired the boots with a squared skirt, I bought ages ago during the era of the iPhone 3 to be accurate, and a black turtleneck sweater.
Greentrees the juicery
A few weeks ago I had breakfast at Greentrees the juicery and it was the bomb! I’ve been on the search for a good juicery in my area for a while now, so I got extra excited when I found out about the juicery Greentrees in Düsseldorf Unterbilk. They are offering biologically sustainable and healthy food. The menu at Greentrees the juicery goes beyond juices and smoothie bowls. You can also get avocado bread, homemade granola, various smoothies or chia parfaits to name only a few of their goodies.
Seventeen blooms
Visiting the Roermond designer outlet is always an exciting experience, since you never know which bargains will be sitting on your backseat on the way home! This time our little shopping tour was successful and we decided to stop at one of Roermond’s market places after our credit cards started to smoke from all the shopping. The market was only a stone’s throw away so we could easily walk there from the outlet. On the market one could find anything the heart desires at least when it comes to flowers and groceries. Exotic fruits and colorful flowers were laid out side by side a paradise for every food lover and gardener.
Stijl design market
A weekend ago I visited the Stijl design market in the Düsseldorfer off-location Boui Boui Bilk. Where a lot of young designer and creative minds presented their designs, products and arts. One could find everything, the heart desires, from minimalistic or fancy clothes over handmade jewelry to home decoration and particular foods spread over two halls.
Wasabi
Last weekend I went on a short trip to Berlin. On the way to Berlin I made a little stop over in Hamburg and popped into a really chic and nice furnished restaurant at the harbor. But I haven’t even told you the best thing about it yet … besides looking fantastic they also served the yummiest sushi rolls!
Fuerteventura travel diary
This summer I travelled to Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. I captured the most beautiful moments and highlights of the trip in this Fuerteventura travel diary. Even though most of my time was simply spent sipping cocktails by the pool and roasting in the sun!
Dark pleasure
Last month I went on a spontaneous trip to Amsterdam, where I spendt two days walking around and exploring the city. I had great luck with the weather so I took advantage of that pleasant day by rocking my black denim shorts once again for this season.
Midnight beginnings
Hello everybody, I warmly welcome you to my blog! My name is Fabienne and I’m starting this online journal to share and capture my personal inspirations, thoughts and style development. I think fashion is all about reinventing yourself as often as you want to. Playing chameleon and revealing a different side of yourself every day. This is my first blog post and I’m positive there are endless more to come. I hope you will stick around to join this journey!
