Last week I received a lovely invitation to the #RIANI x INDIGO event. I was super excited about it since I already heard about the brand but didn’t had a clear image or style of RIANI in mind. But now I know it! RIANI is colorful, and cheerful and ageless! The cocktail reception took place inside the fashion boutique hotel indigo last thursday, on the probably hottest day of this year. Thank god there were enough refreshing cocktails and also some lovingly decorated biscuits in the shape of shoes and dresses, which made the heat bearable.

Let us all take a deep thankful breath, because the times where we had to sweat under hundred layers of cloth or as we desperately tried to plug our way to long blouses into tight pants are over! Thanks to the mock shirt, or also known as every women’s lifesaver! Or should I say the easiest way to enrich your wardrobe with hundreds of new combinations?
The bowl Berlin
Traveling mainly means eating plenty of delicious food in a very short period of time, at least that’s how I define it. And even though I only stayed in Berlin for around 3 days I can proudly say that I still managed to get a small amount of restaurant testing done. Clearly the best lunch I had during my stay was at the Bowl Berlin!
A green day
On my third day in Berlin I felt great! I already woke up around 6 o’clock so I had plenty of time to enjoy a quite morning. My headache from the days before was gone and I already felt a little bit at home as I sat down for breakfast at my regular table at What do you fancy love. Well, traveling alone for the first time isn’t always simple, but on my last day every hint of loneliness was gone.I didn’t planned a super tight program for that day. After my fortifying breakfast I just headed to the ethical fashion show and the green showroom, which both took place at the same location. Super convenient!
Hashmag blogger lounge
After I visited the PREMIUM fashion trade show I made my way to the Hashmag Blogger Lounge after a small detour at the Magnum Pleasure Store (see some tasty photos here). Between cactuses and in a relaxed festival atmosphere one could sample super yummy frozen yogurt from Lycka or tinker a bracelet by bijou Brigitte while enjoying the bohemian vibes of the lounge.
Sweet sin
I wasn’t able to do a lot of sightseeing during my trip to Berlin for MBFW. Because of my tight schedule it was basically impossible to squeeze excursions to any of Berlin’s attractions between the various events I wanted to attend. Still I managed to do at least one thing from my Berlin to-do list: Visiting the Magnum Pleasure Store Berlin!
PREMIUM
My second day in Berlin started with a bad headache but also huge excitement. After some aspirins and fruits for breakfast I eventually felt like a brand-new person and was absolutely ready for the PREMIUM fashion trade show! The fair was great! Really big, if not huge! Every of the 8 halls seemed inviting and vouched an interesting insight into the future of fashion. Needless to say that I was slightly overwhelmed on where to begin.
Show and order
Already somewhat out of breath, from my first day in Berlin, I finally arrived at the show and order fashion trade event. Since its founding five years ago Show and Order has been known as an innovative alternative to the large fashion fairs. Show and Order offers the opportunity to preview the new spring and summer accessory trends for 2017 by exhibiting amazing ready-to-wear fashion, jewellery and accessories.
What do you fancy love?
Well in my case that’s with no doubt fashion. It has always been and I’m sure it will always be fashion. Therefore I was extra excited as I got the chance to join some events during the Mercedes Benz fashion week in Berlin. My journey started in the early morning on Tuesday the 28th of June, fully packed with a Jolie runway report in my left hand and a banana walnut cake from Starbucks in my right. Greatly prepared for my first trip all alone.
A foodies paradise
Since the Rotterdam market hall was fittingly located on our way home from The Hague we had to stop there for lunch to try out some culinary delights. The market hall in the center of Rotterdam is a beneficial combination of food, leisure and living. The artist who designed the ceiling definitely deserves a gold medal, as well as the architect. The horseshoe-shaped eleven-storey building simply is a masterpiece of architecture.
